When competing for a championship in what is a stacked Big 12 conference, winning at home is essentially required, and Oklahoma State women’s basketball coach Jim Littell knows it.

“If you want to remain in the top of league play and contend for a championship and a run in the NCAA tournament, you gotta win your home games,” Littell said.

The No. 24 Cowgirls home game on Wednesday night is especially important, as OSU welcomes the No. 17 West Virginia Mountaineers to Gallagher-Iba Arena. Both teams are seeking their fourth win in league play and are looking to keep on pace with conference leaders Baylor and Texas.
