Normally a loss to something called a Stetson in any college sport would be followed by a string of GIFs inquiring what exactly took place. But this year Stetson is the No. 11 national seed in the NCAA Tournament so it’s with respectability that OSU took a 10-3 loss to the Hatters (which have now won 17 in a row) late on Saturday night in DeLand, Florida.
The Hatters’ Logan Gilbert (11-1) — who came into the game with 143 strikeouts on the season — absolutely owned the Pokes. He surrendered just two runs and five hits in seven innings while striking out 14.
