The green-and-gold faithful at McLane Stadium erupted. If there was a roof on the stadium, the top would’ve flown off.

Baylor (4-4, 2-3 Big 12) had all but secured its first Big 12 Conference win at home in nearly two years, defeating Oklahoma State 38-28.

The story of OSU (3-5, 0-5 Big 12) all season has been how its run defense will hold up. So far in Big 12 play, the Cowboys have given up 307 yards per game on the ground, and allowed 343 to the Bears.

With 3:06 left on the clock and the Cowboys trailing by a field goal, it was up to OSU's defense to get one stop and get the ball back with a chance to win the game.
