After entering Sunday’s final round of the HNA French Open tied for the lead, former Oklahoma State golfer Peter Uihlein finished Sunday in second place, one shot behind winner Tommy Fleetwood.
Uihlein began the final 18 at 8-under, but suffered back-to-back bogeys on holes four and five at Le Golf National in Paris. Uihlein was able to recover, getting five birdies to finish 3-under for the day and 11-under for the tournament.
That included a birdie on No. 17, after this great second shot.
However, it wasn’t enough to catch Brit Tommy Fleetwood, who used a bogey-free 5-under 66 to take the title.
