Oddsmakers already have jumped ahead to the 2020 college football season with a variety of betting offers. These numbers should not be literally used – betting is for losers – but they are interesting to study because they tell us what professional oddsmakers believe the American public believes. It’s a good study on the profile of a team or a player.
I’ve used BetOnline (www.BetOnline.ag) in the past. Another oddsmaker, www.SportsBettingDime.com, also is out with a bunch of numbers. The latter gives the Oklahoma schools much less status than BetOnline.
In national championship odds, OU is 20/1 in BetOnline and OSU is 150/1.
