Oklahoma State sophomore Matthew Wolff won the individual championship Monday as the Cowboys dominated the 72-hole stroke play portion of the NCAA Men's National Golf Championships in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Wolff finished five strokes ahead of Georgia Southern's Steven Fish to claim the individual title at Blessings Golf Club. Wolff finished with a 10-under 278 on the par-72, 7,550-yard layout, nabbing his sixth tournament of the season.
Wolff closed with a 3-under 69 on Monday and led the Cowboys to the No. 1 seed going into match play for the team title. Wolff had a two-shot lead going into Monday's final round and never gave anyone much of a chance.
