Oklahoma State soon could be adding a returning starter to the offensive line following an NCAA rule change that was approved on Wednesday to alter the participation limits for an athlete seeking a sixth year of eligibility.
The change would make OSU offensive lineman Larry Williams eligible for a sixth year, based on the fact that he played in only three games before suffering a broken ankle last season.
The rule previously stated that a football player could have only played in four or fewer games in two separate seasons because of injury, not including his redshirt season.
