TUTTLE — Luke Surber’s bright orange Oklahoma State shirt clashed against the crimson backdrop of Tuttle High School, but it’s a highly anticipated change for the nationally ranked wrestler.
Surber and Tuttle teammate Dustin Plott each signed with the OSU wrestling team on Wednesday, becoming part of what is regarded as one of Cowboy coach John Smith’s most renowned recruiting classes.
“I’ve wanted to be an OSU Cowboy since I was little bitty,” said Surber, the son of Tuttle wrestling coach Matt Surber. “I’ve went up to their duals since I was 4 or 5 years old.
