TULSA — David Taylor didn't have a moment of doubt.
Not even the reality of Teague Travis stepping onto the mat for the first time in four months hindered his confidence. Not that Travis was suiting up as a 149-pound wrestler for the first time in his career.
“I had zero doubt,” Taylor said. “He looked good. I was just happy for him to be out there wrestling.”
Through the first session of the Big 12 Wrestling Championships at the BOK Center, Oklahoma State holds a first-place standing with 83 team points — a 29-point advantage over second-place Iowa State.
