In Sunday's dual against Missouri, the Oklahoma State fans at Gallagher-Iba Arena helped send off seniors with record attendance.
Dean Hamiti Jr. felt the transition of crowd engagement this season when he transferred from Wisconsin, which averaged 2,176 fans in 2023-24 during his final year with the Badgers.
When the third-ranked 174-pound senior wore a Gallagher Day shirt while reflecting on the OSU fans, he said they're a significant factor in helping him compete.
"It's awesome. Record-breaking, right? That's amazing," Hamiti said. "That crowd gives me particularly a lot of energy. I felt the crowd getting pumped up.
