STILLWATER — The last time Oklahoma State wrestling fans saw senior Chandler Rogers on the mat, he was creatively celebrating a pin of his opponent from Iowa, playing up to the frenzied Gallagher-Iba Arena crowd two Sundays ago.
As it turns out, that appears to be the final time Cowboy fans will see Rogers, the Stillwater native whose college career likely came to a close on a mat inside the OSU wrestling room.
Joe Smith defeated Rogers in back-to-back matches in a wrestle-off for a spot in OSU’s postseason lineup at 165 pounds earlier this week to settle a logjam in the middle of the Cowboy lineup.
