OSU wrestling adds former Iowa State star Casey Swiderski

It didn’t take long for Oklahoma State coach David Taylor to begin working on next season's roster.

On Wednesday, former Iowa State 141-pounder Casey Swiderski announced on Instagram that he was transferring to OSU, becoming the first transfer portal prospect to pledge to the Cowboys this offseason. Pete Nakos of On3 reported Swiderski’s transfer first.

Swiderski, the former No. 3 pound-for-pound recruit in the 2022 class, boasts a 32-17 career record. He used a medical redshirt for the 2024-25 season after suffering a knee injury in practice ahead of ISU's season opener, so he will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
