Kansas raced to a big lead in the first quarter and never trailed as the Jayhawks defeated Oklahoma State, 77-69, Saturday night in Lawrence, Kansas.
The Jayhawks (15-12, 4-12 Big 12) went on a 16-0 scoring run late in the first period to take a 27-11 lead after the first quarter. Kansas led by 22 points midway in the third quarter, the Jayhawks' biggest lead of the game.
Vivian Gray led the Cowgirls (15-13, 6-10) with 29 points on 12-of-24 shooting. Natasha Mack scored 24 points while grabbing 15 rebounds and blocking six shots. Lauren Fields added eight points for OSU.
