STILLWATER — The Oklahoma State women’s basketball team has paused in-person activities and canceled its season-opening game against Arkansas Little Rock after three Cowgirl players tested positive for COVID-19.
Of the players who tested positive, none reported severe symptoms or were hospitalized, according to an OSU press release.
“We’ll get through this,” Cowgirl coach Jim Littell said, whose team was set to open the regular season on Nov. 25 at Little Rock. “Our first priority is creating a safe environment for the people in our program. If that means we need to alter our schedule, then that’s what we’ll do.
