Iowa State rallied from a 14-point first half deficit on Sunday to defeat Oklahoma State, 64-63, at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater.The Cowgirls led 34-20 nearing halftime, but the Cyclones cut the deficit to nine at the break.The third quarter was all Iowa State (10-6, 2-3). Ashley Joens and Jade Thurmon combined for 13 points for the Cyclones in the third, highlighting a quarter in which they outscored the Cowgirls, 23-13.
Iowa State led 48-47 entering the final period but Oklahoma State (11-6, 2-3) opened the fourth quarter on an 8-0 run. The Cyclones fought back and regained the lead, 64-63, with just over a minute remaining when Kristin Scott hit a 3-pointer followed by a layup from Ines Nezerwa.
