STILLWATER — Rebounding had been a strength for the Oklahoma State women’s basketball team for so long, last season’s struggles on the boards were hard to stomach for the Cowgirls.
OSU coach Jim Littell envisions a return to form with the roster he’s built for the coming season, which begins with the opener at 7 p.m. Tuesday against Idaho at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Littell took the size he already had with players such as 6-foot-1 forward Vivian Gray, 6-3 center Kassidy De Lapp and 6-5 center Mariam Gnanou, and added more height.
At 6-4, Natasha Mack was the Junior-College Player of the Year last season, and 6-3 freshman Sara Rodrigues competed for junior national teams in Brazil throughout her teenage years.
