STILLWATER — Vivian Gray scored 23 points, Braxtin Miller added 17 and Oklahoma State defeated Texas State 66-55 on Friday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Gray shot 9 for 17 from the field and 3 of 4 from 3-point range. Miller, who was 6-of-20 shooting on the night, had a game-high nine rebounds and eight assists.
The Cowgirls (6-0) led 14-12 at the end of the first quarter. They held Texas State (3-4) to just six points in the second quarter and and had a 25-18 lead heading into halftime.
OSU held off Texas State's attempts for a rally in the second half to seal the victory.
