Graduate transfer U continues to build it’s already impressive resume. For a fourth straight year, the Cowboys are expected to add a veteran defensive player to the group in Louisiana-Monroe cornerback Lenzy Pipkins. Pipkins confirmed to PFB that he does intend to transfer to OSU. The transfer was first reported by gopokes.com.
If there ever was a year when a veteran presence will be needed at cornerback, it’s this year. The Cowboys return several players with experience at the position in Ashton Lampkin and Ramon Richards. But beyond that, the group of cornerbacks is extremely young and inexperienced with the biggest loss being all Big 12 performer Kevin Peterson from last years crew.
