OSU to celebrate Boone Pickens' life in public ceremony Sept. 25

STILLWATER -- Oklahoma State will celebrate the life of its most prominent booster and the man whose name adorns the school's football stadium in a public ceremony later this month.

The life of Boone Pickens, who died Wednesday at age 91, will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The public invitation calls fans to "celebrate and remember the man and the legend Boone Pickens whose gifts to academics and athletics transformed Oklahoma State."
