Oklahoma State softball used a late seventh-inning rally Friday to take a Game 1 victory over Arizona.

The first of a three-game Big 12 Conference series for the Cowgirls started just how they were hoping for to begin a crucial conference series against the No. 12 Wildcats.

OSU went six straight innings of being shut out, but it got the bats going in the seventh inning to bring across its only four runs of the contest.

It started with Claire Timm’s first home run of the season, as she blasted a solo shot over the left field fence to cut the deficit to within one run.
