The ACC Pitcher of the Year is transferring to Oklahoma State for her last season of softball.
Carrie Eberle, a graduate transfer from Virginia Tech, announced her decision in a tweet Sunday night.
“I am so grateful for this opportunity and so happy to begin this new chapter of my life,” Eberle said. “Thank you to all my family and friends for their support through this process and major life change.”
Eberle, from Charlotte, North Carolina, posted a 1.84 ERA during the past season. She threw 164 strikeouts and started 32 games.
Eberle is joining a Cowgirl squad that recently gained national attention because of a standout transfer pitcher and hitter.
