Oklahoma State seniors Samantha Show and Madi Sue Montgomery were both recognized by various softball outlets as All-America players Wednesday afternoon.
Show earned NFCA third-team All-America honors, the first selection of her career, after an impressive year in the circle and at the plate.
The right-hander leads Oklahoma State in earned run average (2.37), innings pitched (183.1), strikeouts (111), wins (21) and several other pitching categories. She also set the school’s single-season home run total with 18, to go with a team-best 54 RBIs.
Show is the 34th OSU player to receive an All-America honor, and the fourth of the Kenny Gajewski era.
