STILLWATER — Oklahoma State softball coach Kenny Gajewski found himself in a tough situation Wednesday night with his team comfortably ahead of North Texas.
Did he put the team’s needs first, or let a player chase an individual accomplishment?
Gajewski came down on the side of the team, knowing that his Cowgirls are building toward something much bigger than what might have happened on a Wednesday night in April.
No. 13 OSU (34-11, 10-2 Big 12) hosts No. 16 Texas Tech (35-9, 8-7) in a three-game series starting Friday at Cowgirl Stadium, and by the Sunday evening, OSU could be in position to make a run at its first Big 12 title since 1995.
