STILLWATER — On Tuesday morning, Kenny Gajewski and the Oklahoma State softball team received their validation.
For the first time since 2011, the Cowgirls are ranked, coming in at No. 21 in the USA Softball poll and No. 24 in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll. Entering his third season as OSU’s coach after serving as an assistant at Florida, Gajewski brings high expectations.
“Feel like this is probably our most talented team without a doubt,” Gajewski said Tuesday during his team’s media day. “… We’ve had a couple of nice years as we build, and I think we could call those building blocks on where we want to be, but we’re nowhere close yet to that.
