With recent periods of inconsistency in putting good offensive and defensive games together, the Oklahoma State softball team got all its weapons on the same page to take two of three games from No. 10 Texas at Cowgirl Stadium over the weekend.
Pitching was sharp and bats were effective in two crucial wins that will be a strong point on the OSU resume down the stretch as the Cowgirls seek a top-16 seed and host berth for the NCAA softball regionals. OSU moved up to No. 13 in the ESPN/USA Softball rankings this week.
