DALLAS – For most of Tuesday night, the visitor’s dugout at Horner Ballpark was silent.
The home-run cannon adjacent to the left field wall and the clinks from the metal bats of Dallas Baptist players making contact with the ball were heard more often than anything from the Oklahoma State section of the ballpark. And when those did surface, they were faint.
OSU dropped its midweek road contest to No. 25 Dallas Baptist, 14-4, on Tuesday in a seven-inning run rule. The Cowboys were run ruled for the first time this season, resulting from costly errors from star players and sloppy play all around.
