Slade Seely worked hard all night and didn’t get paid a penny.
Seely, 12, is Oklahoma State baseball coach Justin Seelys son, and was the bat boy in OSU’s 11-1 win against Seton Hall on Friday.
Seely sprinted after every bat tossed aside and every discarded elbow pad first base coach Robin Ventura had waiting for him. The Cowboys walked 11 times and were gifted two more free passes from being hit by pitches.
Cowboy head coach Josh Holliday, who was a bat boy himself, said Seely brought great energy.
