It might seem like the Oklahoma State football team just had its bye week, and that's because it did.
But because of the Big 12's uniquely-designed schedule that placed OSU's two open weeks less than a month apart from each other this season, the Cowboys aren't as desperate for an injury-recovery week as they were heading into their first bye on October 12.
Instead, the Cowboys head into this Nov. 9 open week looking relatively healthy and with an opportunity to allow its starters to rest.
"The veterans are getting not a lot of work," Gundy said.
