Oklahoma City-area star Brynden Walker out of Bishop McGuinness picked up an offer on Friday from Oklahoma State, adding to a quickly growing list of opportunities for the rising edge rusher.
Walker is a 6-foot-2, 220-pound outside linebacker/defensive end in the 2020 recruiting classification. Along with OSU, he’s also garnered offers from Memphis, Iowa State, SMU, Vanderbilt and Eastern Michigan.
Pedigree isn’t the only thing to look at in rising prospects who maybe haven’t gotten many looks until their senior year, but Walker fits the profile of what a late rising star could be. His father, Denard Walker, played college football at LSU and went on to play nine seasons in the NFL.
