Three-star linebacker Myles Jernigan is expected to make his college commitment at some point during the opening weekend of OSU’s season, he told Gabe Brooks of 247Sports.
Jernigan is a 6-3, 210-pound outside backer from South Grand Prairie in Grand Prairie, Texas. He’s deciding between Cal, OSU, Utah, Baylor, Houston, Texas Tech and Rice, though it appears to be a four-team race between Cal, OSU, Utah and Baylor.
Jernigan recently visited Cal on an unofficial basis, and did the same with OSU in late-June. He has also visited Utah, La. Tech, Baylor and Houston. His current 247Sports crystal ball gives Baylor a slight edge, though it’s important to note that his three most recent predictions have been in favor of Cal.
