Following another successful campaign in 2015-2016, the OSU Quidditch Club aims for a national title run in their upcoming season.
He’s the center of attention — the backbone of an Oklahoma State quidditch team he helped build.
One month ago, Applebee, an agribusiness senior, was on a similar field 5,000 miles away in Frankfurt, Germany, participating in the Quidditch World Cup.
It was a massive milestone for Applebee, who three years ago, found himself a novice in the sport.
“When I came in, I was in a position with no leadership, and I’ve worked myself into the officers and eventually to captain,” Applebee said.
