Brown shows variety of skills at Pro Day
STILLWATER — Former Oklahoma State quarterback Dru Brown might not have the prototypical size that NFL scouts are looking for at the position, but he showed a variety of talents at OSU Pro Day on Tuesday.
He had the first “wow” moment of the day, when his vertical leap was measured at 36 inches. That mark matched the best by any quarterback at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Brown’s speed and agility timed well, with his 40-yard dash time in the 4.6-second range.
And he threw the ball well, even though he wasn’t working with familiar receivers.
