Days after hitting the transfer portal, OSU offensive lineman Caleb Etienne, who started every game last season for the Cowboys at left tackle, announced on Monday he has already found a new home and committed to BYU. Etienne announced the news on Twitter with the caption “HOME.”
“He felt like he got beat out, so he left,” said Gundy on Monday to the media. “But that’s his choice.”
Gundy added that he’s “not a big fan” of the portal in the spring because it’s “extremely difficult to replace roster numbers.
