KANSAS CITY, MO. — Remember when Brad Underwood half-jokingly announced he didn't want to see Baylor again this season?
Add Iowa State to that list. Kansas, too.
Time for something new, something outside the Big 12, for Oklahoma State.
Iowa State dumped the Cowboys for a third time Thursday, 92-83 at the Sprint Center, ousting OSU from the Big 12 Tournament in a game that featured a Groundhog Day feel, with the Cyclones again firing in an array of 3-pointers, spurting to big leads and fending off rallies — just like the first two meetings.
The good news for the Cowboys: they'll play on, with an NCAA Tournament destination coming Sunday.
