OSU left with spot to fill after Fonua commits to LSU

With the final signing period approaching on Wednesday, Oklahoma State finds itself with one spot left to fill after junior-college defensive end Soni Fonua committed to LSU on Sunday.

Fonua, a 6-foot-4, 264-pound prospect from Mesa Community College in Arizona, announced the decision during an official visit to LSU. He visited LSU over the final weekend of January.

OSU could go a variety of directions as signing day nears, including the possibility that it doesn’t fill the final spot. Junior-college and graduate transfer prospects are still on the market, as well as a few potential high school players.
