Oklahoma State jumped Kansas State in the Big 12 recruiting rankings this weekend with the commitment of Midwest City athlete Makale Smith, bumping the Pokes up to No. 8 in the conference ahead of the TCU and K-State.
It’s the highest the Pokes have ranked in this cycle to date after sluggishly starting the class. They were ranked last out of the gate but have added four of their seven commitments in the last month, including top-rated commit Collin Oliver.
Smith ranks last in the 247Sports Composite rankings of the seven with an 84.10 grade — making him a three-star recruit.
