STILLWATER — Oklahoma State coach Mike Boynton doesn't care who's next. He believes in his players regardless.
With the Cowboys' 82-64 upset of Kansas, Boynton's OSU squad finished eighth in the Big 12 and will take on Oklahoma on Wednesday in the first round of the Big 12 tournament. With both the Cowboys and the Sooners on the NCAA Tournament bubble, the matchup could arguably determine which Bedlam school makes the 68-team bracket and which ends up in the NIT.
Coming off a sweep of the Jayhawks, Boynton spoke confidently about his team.
“I'll take this team anywhere against anybody,” he said.
