Brad Underwood's coaching staff now appears complete.
The first-year Oklahoma State coach announced Wednesday the hiring of Stephen Gentry as director of player development. Gentry worked as an assistant coach the past three seasons under Underwood at Stephen F. Austin, where his primary duties were on-court coaching, as well as overseeing the skill development program, recruiting and scouting.
“Stephen is one of the elite basketball minds in our business,” Underwood said in a released statement. “He’s very accomplished in terms of his resume, and he’s been associated with quality coaches like Pat Riley, Mark Turgeon and Billy Kennedy.
