Former Oklahoma State star defensive end Leslie O’Neal is one of 76 players on the ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. This is the second consecutive year that O’Neal has been included on the ballot, which was released Monday by the National Football Foundation.
A two-time All-American, O’Neal was part of the two best defenses in OSU history in 1984-85. He was a dominant force on teams that allowed 34 total touchdowns over two seasons. He was named Big Eight defensive player of the year in 1984 and earned All-Big Eight honors in each of his last three seasons as a Cowboy.
