Just 12 hours after reaching its third straight Women’s College World Series appearance, OSU made sure to lock up its softball leader.
On Saturday, OSU announced a contract extension agreement with coach Kenny Gajewski that will keep him in Stillwater until 2027.
In his seven years at the helm, Gajewski has led the Cowgirls to a conference championship, six regionals, three super regionals and three trips to the Women’s College World Series.
"Coach Gajewski has built Cowgirl Softball into a perennial national contender", OSU Athletic Director Chad Weiberg said. "He has established Stillwater as a destination for elite softball players and model student-athletes.
