Since the Cowboys first started using J.W. Walsh in certain situations two years ago, fans and the media have tried applying tags to the package. We're consumed with naming things.
Anyway, some have been good. Some have been clever.
Some… not so much.
A sampling:
Power Walsh. The current favorite, it plays to Walsh's running skills. When Walsh enters on third down, it often involves a power running look, either with a Cowboy back in play or even the diamond backfield.
The Walsh-ing Machine. This name played prominently in 2013, when Walsh did his thing to complement Clint Chelf.
