STILLWATER — These games haven't always gone smoothly for Oklahoma State.
Road games at a mid-major program, particularly those played on a weeknight, which seem to energize the local fan base.
Friday night's visit to South Alabama, the fledgling football program in Mobile that made its name known with last year's upset of Mississippi State, doesn't look like the type of game that should be a hindrance for the 10th-ranked Cowboys. The game kicks off at 7 p.m., televised on ESPN2.
If OSU is going to make a legitimate run at the College Football Playoff, this type of game should barely be a speed bump on the journey up that mountain.
