STILLWATER — Oklahoma State’s two most costly injuries of 2019 are healing well.
Receiver Tylan Wallace, who tore his ACL on Oct. 30, is at least a month ahead of schedule in his recovery.
Quarterback Spencer Sanders’ surgically repaired thumb has healed to the point he can throw the football again — which he says he couldn’t do adequately at the Texas Bowl.
“I’ve come a long way,” Sanders said. “It kind of slowed me down and showed me I need to focus more and do more.”
With Wallace, Gundy’s only concern is that his receiver will push himself too hard.
