STILLWATER — Oklahoma State went to the NFL to find its next offensive assistant coach, but not the one Cowboy fans were expecting.
With rumors heating up Friday about former Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Todd Monken potentially joining the staff in the same position at OSU, the Cowboys announced on Twitter that Tim Rattay has been hired as the program’s new quarterbacks coach.
Rattay spent 2019 in the NFL as the quarterbacks coach at Washington.
Though no additional details were announced by Oklahoma State, Rattay’s hiring as quarterbacks coach seems to signal that receivers coach and associate head coach Kasey Dunn will be the Cowboys’ offensive coordinator.
