STILLWATER — Oklahoma State freshman tight end Grayson Boomer entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to reports Monday morning.
Boomer, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound Collinsville native, suffered a torn ACL in preseason camp and redshirted this season. News of his decision to transfer was first reported by 247Sports.com.
Boomer, a four-star prospect, was one of the top recruits in OSU’s 2019 class. His older brother, Seth, is a quarterback at Tulsa.
Over the last several months, OSU saw its tight end depth take quite a hit.
Senior Larry Joubert, a converted offensive lineman, and junior-college transfer Jake Ross both stepped away from football for medical reasons.
