STILLWATER — Injuries were a big storyline during Baylor's 45-35 win over Oklahoma State on Saturday.
Especially for Baylor.
The Bears had answers, however, even at quarterback.
When Jarrett Stidham, previously the backup to Seth Russell, couldn't answer the call for the second half, third-teamer Chris Johnson entered — and fired a 39-yard scoring pass on his first possession. Johnson finished with two touchdown passes and another TD rushing.
The Bears were also without their top two players at defensive tackle, with three-year starter Beau Blackshear and his backup Byron Bonds both out with injuries.
