STILLWATER — Ja'Ron Wilson rushed for 4,994 yards and 64 touchdowns over four seasons at a Class 6A Texas high school powerhouse in the Dallas Metroplex.
The Euless Trinity tailback held scholarship offers from Arkansas State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Illinois and Kansas, but come National Signing Day 2016, Wilson wore an Oklahoma State hat as a preferred walk-on with the Cowboys.
"Since Texas has the best competition, I think I'm going to do well heading into college," Wilson told The Dallas Morning News. "I think I can take my skills, and Oklahoma State can make me look good.
