A.J. Green knows where the money is.
For the former Oklahoma State cornerback and many other participants at this week’s NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, speed pays.
That’s particularly true for Green, who already caught scouts’ attention with a strong performance on Senior Bowl week in January, where he held his own against some of the top receivers in the draft pool.
When he takes the field with the rest of the defensive backs on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium, Green will be competing against the stopwatch.
“A lot of teams said they want to see me run,” Green said of his conversations with scouts, coaches and general managers during the Senior Bowl workouts.
