After playing five true freshmen in the season opener, Oklahoma State expanded that list to include eight more players in Saturday’s blowout of McNeese State.
Highly recruited receiver Langston Anderson made his first appearance, as did four-star running back Deondrick Glass. Defensive backs Demarco Jones and Xavier Player, linebacker Kamryn Farrar, defensive tackle Xavier Ross and defensive ends Isreal Isuman-Hundley and Kody Walterscheid saw their first action.
Four of the players appeared on the stat sheet. Glass had three carries for 10 yards, but fumbled once. Anderson caught an 8-yard pass. Waltersheid broke up a pass at the line of scrimmage, and Farrar recorded a tackle.
