STILLWATER — Jordan McCray impressed NFL scouts with his skills at the East-West Shrine Game in January and learned two key pieces of information that will benefit his professional potential.
The former Oklahoma State receiver needs to run fast and gain weight.
One of those things he can show on Tuesday at OSU’s Pro Day, when the 6-foot-6, 193-pound McCray will be timed in the 40-yard dash and other agility drills.
As for bulking up, he’ll need some time to work on that. But if he can show speed to go with the route-running ability and ball skills he’s already displayed, McCray could get a phone call in April.
